The Australian Breakfast Cereal Manufacturers Forum (ABCMF) of the Australian Food and Grocery Council (AFGC), is seeking a Nutrition Communications Advisor.
The Nutrition Communications Advisor will be responsible for assisting the ABCMF stay up to date on key nutrition issues of interest, and developing related communication materials suitable for a range of audiences. The Nutrition Communications Advisor will also provide secretariat services to the ABCMF.
This is an exciting opportunity for a capable professional who has appropriate tertiary qualifications, expertise in the scientific method, a comprehensive knowledge of nutrition science plus expertise in nutrition communications through a variety of channels, including social media. An excellent working knowledge of Australian food, nutrition and public health sectors is a prerequisite.

The position reports directly to the ABCMF Director.
The position is half time. Some flexibility in working hours is needed over 4-5 days each week to support program delivery.
Location is negotiable, with a home office in Sydney (or close to Sydney) or AFGC Canberra office preferred.
A salary commensurate with the importance of the role and the experience of the successful candidate will be negotiated.
